Offsite SEO Using Networking Websites

There are various offsite SEO methods used by SEO companies that are not effective.
I say not effective because the offsite optimisation
that you need to carry out is not always possible using these methods.
Using the following networking websites will not produce first page Google results for your targeted website keyword:
Facebook.
Twitter.
Forums.
Chat Rooms.
Most Social Networking websites.
Firstly you need to understand exactly how onsite and offsite optimisation works.
SEO is all about keywords and links
You need your website to appear first page Google for keywords relevant
to the kind of services you provide or the kind of products you sell.
With onsite optimisation the keywords you are targeting need to be found on your website.
With offsite optimisation the keywords you are targeting need to be found on other websites and these keywords need to be links pointing to your website.
Optimising your own website so that it contains your targeted keywords is no problem.
But having your targeted keywords on other websites as links pointing to your website does cause problems.
It causes problems because on websites such as Facebook, Twitter, Forums, Chat Rooms and most Social Networking websites it is not possible
to set up keyword links pointing to your website.
You could spend your whole life poking on Facebook, tweeting on Twitter, discussing on Forums and chatting
in Chat rooms and not move your website up the Google results one space for your targeted website keyword.
This is why I do not include Facebook, Twitter and Social Networking websites in the SEO service I provide. These websites are part of Internet Marketing not SEO.
