Below are answers to most of the questions I get asked.
Why are you so cheap ?
I have answered this question first because it is the one I get asked the most often.
The reason my prices are so affordable is because I am self employed.
I work from home and I do not employ any staff or salespeople to drum up new business. I receive all my enquiries via Google and I do not carry out any unnecessary work to bump up my prices like other SEOs, see next 3 questions.
Do you analyse my competitors websites ?
No, what for ?
A lot of SEO Companies include this as part of their service so they can charge more.
The way a website is optimised is the same whether it sells designer shoes, provides Hypnotherapy or carries out vehicle MOTs.
The only thing that will vary are the keywords.
If an SEO Consultant needs to look at your competitors website optimisation then they do not know what they are doing.
Will you be changing my website structure so that it is SEO friendly ?
No, this very rarely needs doing.
A lot of SEO Companies will say this needs to be done so that they can charge you extra for changing the navigation
and set up of your website. Simply put, a SEO friendly website is a website that is easy
for Google to spider into and find all the pages.
Providing Google can find all your website pages and index them there is no need to change
the set up or layout of your website..
Will you be using Facebook, Twitter and Networking websites ?
No.
Facebook, Twitter and Networking websites are part of Internet Marketing not SEO.
The offsite SEO that needs to be carried out on other websites is not possible via Facebook, Twitter and Networking websites
so these are not part of the SEO process.
So, what will I be getting for my money ?
When I have completed my job your website will be receiving visitors from Google who are looking
for the kind of services you provide or the kind of products you sell.
I get potential customers / clients visiting your website.
Whether they take up your services or buy your products is down to you.
How much link building do you carry out ?
Forget all that you have read about link building.
It is not necessary to have thousands of inbound links to achieve top positions on Google.
The most important factor is the TYPE of links and not the QUANTITY of links.
The links need to be set up in a certain way to have the desired effect.
I set up as many links as needed to achieve first page Google for your particular keyword.
How long before I see results ?
You will have first page Google positions for some keywords within 3-6 weeks.
Once your website home page is optimised
we have to wait for Google to revisit your website and refresh its listing. Once Google has the optimised home
page indexed that's when you will have your first top positions. It is impossible to say for which keyword and
in which position and exactly when, but, you will have first page Google results for some keywords within 3-6 weeks
that will be sending visitors to your website.
Other companies say it can take up to 6 months to see results, why ?
I can only guess that they say this so that they are able to sit back and take
your monthly payments for 6 months before you start chasing them for results.
I have achieved first page results for competitive keywords within a few weeks.
If I thought that your keywords were not achievable I would tell you so.
Are your SEO techniques ethical ?
Yes, I will not do anything that could get your website banned or blacklisted by Google.
